Florida Cooperative Secures Loans for Sustainable Water Supply Projects

In Polk County, Florida, the law firm Holland & Knight counseled the Polk Regional Water Cooperative (PRWC) on its bid from the EPA to secure a future sustainable water supply. Successfully, the PRWC will receive a hefty sum in loans for their project. This will reduce strain on their primary water provider by creating an alternative source that can expand. The chairman of the PRWC remarks, "The PRWC alliance formed between the county and its municipalities has strengthened our opportunity to seek federal and state funding that will have a tremendous impact on future water supplies in Polk."
