Savings groups decry multiple microfinance regulations

Savings and Cooperatives groups in Uganda have expressed multiple concerns regarding the regulatory mechanisms of the sector in the country. The multiplicity of regulatory bodies have lead to weakening the principles of the charter, lack of a clear accountability structure, among other inefficient operations.
