Japan enacted the Workers' Co-operative Act with the objective to promote the creation of diverse employment opportunities and to promote the implementation of businesses that meet the diverse demands of the community through such organisations, and thereby to contribute to the realisation of sustainable and vibrant communities, by providing for the establishment, management and other necessary matters.
