Costa Rica’s Labor Court Rules that Uber Must Recognize Drivers’ Labor Benefits

The Labour Court of the Third Judicial Circuit of San José ruled this March that the company Uber in Costa Rica has a labour relationship with the drivers of its platform. The ruling came after a driver requested the recognition of his labour benefits for rendering his services to the company since 2017.
